Introduction
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, often known as Jazz Fest, is an annual celebration of the music and culture of New Orleans and Louisiana. The Festival celebrates the indigenous music and culture of New Orleans and Louisiana, so the music encompasses every style associated with the city and the state, from jazz to R&B to folk and everything in-between.
Shell has been the presenting sponsor of this event for many years. The event hosts guests from all over the world, with a special representation of New Orleans and the surrounding southern states. An estimated 475,000 guests attended Jazz Fest in New Orleans over the course of the eight day event. Through this partnership, Shell has unique access to VIP experience packages for the event.
Jazz Fest provides a platform for all of Shell’s lines of business to showcase our positive impact on the communities where we work and live and is an opportunity for Shell to use the event for more conversation, collaboration and innovation around conservation, coastal protection, and more and cleaner energy solutions.
