Powering Progress Through North American Sponsorships

Shell’s ambition is to become a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050. Our Powering Progress strategy is built around achieving this ambition. However, when it comes to decarbonization, the best strategy in the world will mean nothing without the mutual support of government, industry and customers. Therefore, Shell is eager to form new partnerships, and to strengthen those already in place in the sponsorship community.

The “Decarbonizing Partnership” platform will be leveraged as part of the total racing activation plan for NA sponsorships, where we will be supportive of the premium products, technology and services and will ladder up to the key message “Strengthening partnerships, decarbonizing together”, while remaining educational, engaging, and authentic. This is aligned to the overall goal of presenting Shell as a leader in energy transition, whereby both Shell and its partners jointly invest in research and development to achieve the best results on and off the track: performance + sustainability.
