Indianapolis Motor Speedway is one of the oldest race tracks in the world, with its first race coming in 1909. Nicknamed “The Brickyard” due to the race surface initially being built with bricks (the last remaining bricks sits across the start/finish line), the track has hosted and continues to host some of the biggest races in the world. It also contains the IMS Museum and a golf course within its confines.
